To all of the information contained herein, we ask both parents and students to take responsibility, be organized, ask questions, and be proactive and constructive in planning their future. The preparation for college actually begins upon entering Cardinal Ritter College Preparatory High School as a ninth grader. Each student entering Cardinal Ritter has a four-year plan designed specifically to assist in mapping out their educational journey. The curriculum in place at Ritter prepares students for academic excellence at the collegiate level. The members of the faculty assist the students at each stage to ensure their success. College counseling for each student and his/her family is primarily the responsibility of the Guidance Department.
